The need for ecommerce technology challenges many retail organizations from order to delivery. On average, online retailers plan to invest $2.6 million to optimize their ecommerce operations this year and more than half of that money – $1.4 million – will be spent on technologies from outside providers, according to a January study conducted by web performance vendor Yottaa.
